🍁Ciao, Hello, سلام 🍂 My name is Veronica and I am a certified Italian language teacher. I was born in a little town near Garda Lake, but I moved to Venice as soon as I started my Bachelor's Degree. During my university years, I had my first tutoring experiences with university students and I started to study to become an Italian language teacher. In 2023, I worked in Uzbekistan as Italian Lecturer for a semester. I speak Italian, Persian and English and I am learning French and Russian. I am very passionate about traveling and learning new languages. I also love reading novels and cooking (especially eating, to be honest). I am very curious about other cultural habits and traditions.

我的教學經歷

The more you speak the more you learn. Just through speaking you can get the confidence you need to express yourself fluently in a foreign language, therefore speaking practice is a vital part of my lessons. From the very first lessons, we will put English or Persian aside and try to speak only Italian. I will propose you interactive speaking exercises that will help you to overcome your insecurities and that will strengthen your vocabulary together with your fluency. In doing so, we will detect your weaknesses and focus on them.

🐾From A1 to C2: let's dive into all the basics of Italian. It helps you to build a solid grammar base and a broad vocabulary. If you already know some Italian, we will work together on your weaknesses and expand your grammar. Reading, Listening and Speaking skills won't be let aside! 🐦Speaking session: we let grammar aside and focus on broading your fluency and vocabulary. I will provide you articles, videos and short text to comment and discuss. Please share with me your passions during our first meeting, so that I can plan our future lessons according to your interests! 🚂Viaggio in Italia: share with me your destination(s) and let's discover together some curiosities before your trip!

Veronica is fantastic! She is a talented teacher with a gift for making learning a language fun. She is patient and will work with your language goals and level. I'm taking a trip to Italy and I'm only a beginner (less than 2 months of self-studying). She helped me get up to speed quickly and learn useful phrases. And she put all of the exercises and notes in one document that I will print and take with me to refer to on my trip. I'm so grateful that I was able to find her on Italki and I will be booking more lessons when I return!!
