I'm Josefina, from Buenos Aires, Argentina and I live in a beautiful coastal city called Pinamar.
I've been a Spanish teacher since 2020, helping students achieve confidence and fluency in the language for different reasons: travelling, speaking with family and friends, relocating to a Spanish-speaking country, sitting for exams, etc.
Witnessing my students' progress is a wonderful aspect of my profession and I'm always happy to help new students achieve their own goals!
In my free time, I enjoy taking walks with my dog, swimming, meeting with friends, travelling and playing the piano.
I also manage a learning Spanish community where I love to hang out and help out my students daily!我的教學經歷
I'm an easy-going, patient, and professional teacher who values structured lessons to provide a comprehensive language experience while feeling comfortable and relaxed. My modern teaching approach includes diverse resources such as images, videos, audio files, interactive exercises, and grammar activities.

In my classes, I provide a diverse range of materials, including interactive books and activities that I have personally created. These resources will prepare you with the necessary skills for real-life situations in Spanish. Through discovery and reflection, you will develop fluency, acquire useful vocabulary, and grasp the rules and patterns of the language.
Additionally, I believe in exposing you to various language variations and cultural aspects to ensure no problems when communicating with Spanish speakers from different parts of the world. By incorporating these elements, you'll be empowered to put your language skills into action and truly engage with the language.我的教材

Spanish Teacher as a Second Language - International House - 2022This Spanish teacher training course taught me planning and management of Spanish classes as a foreign language, linguistic skills, analysis of didactic materials, communication techniques and activities to teach Spanish, group dynamics, etc. The course included specialized methodology classes and practices with volunteer foreign students and had a duration of minimum 120 hours.

Josefina is hands-down the best teacher on Italki! If you’re not taking classes with her, you are wasting your money. My previous teacher wasn’t the right fit, and I ended up feeling unmotivated and unexcited about learning Spanish—until Josefina turned it all around. Her classes are super fun, thoughtfully designed, and packed with creative ways to help you learn. And if you’re lucky (and nice), she’ll even teach you how to sound like a true Argentine—“¡¿Cómo te shamas?!” You know how Justin Bieber fans are called 'Beliebers'? My lessons with Josefina are always well structured and highly productive...I am finally starting to understand how to correctly use and conjugate various verbs since starting my lessons with her. Having lessons with Josefina is really fun, she is very patient and I don't feel the stress of not knowing and learning the language with her. Also her English is very good so we are able to communicate easily. Highly recommended :)

This was just my second trial class, and I really liked her. I think she has a clear path and is very well organized. She also seems very friendly and motivated. She tried to share as much as she could about the tools she uses for her students. I definitely think she is a good teacher. She was also easy to understand.
