Tomomi

I look forward to my conversation time with Tomomi. She meets me where I am in my Japanese language skills and helps me build vocabulary and grammar from there. We always have fun conversations learning about Japanese culture.

Tomomi Sensei is an AWESOME teacher! I've only recently started learning Japanese with the Genki textbooks, and her lessons have been an invaluable way for me to start speaking Japanese and concretizing the concepts from the book. She has a lot of resources to help facilitate her lessons, and is very flexible and tailors the lessons to my needs. She does a great job of having me speak as much Japanese as possible in our lessons, but her English is very good. This is helpful for me at this point so that I can ask clarifying questions in English, but I know that in the future we will decrease our English usage. Finally, her rate is the best bang for your buck. I highly recommend Tomomi Sensei!
