I am Italian, born and raised on the lovely Italian Riviera. Now living in Scotland, I like to chat with people from all over the world, at all levels of Italian, make new friends, and give them a nice, relaxed, Italian-style introduction to our sunny vocabulary & ideas. I am happy to prepare new topics for you to explore with me, lesson after lesson. We can focus on your specific requirements, or you can leave it to me to introduce you to those things that will open up your Italian... (talk about family, sports, politics, love, religion, but also architecture, literature, arts, beaches, the Alps, the way Italians see themselves as part of world history and culture). I love to explore with you the roots of our words, and see how they compare with those of your language, if at all possible!我的課程內容與教學風格
Learning a new language allows you to acquire a new perspective, see things through different lens.
It also means acquiring a vocabulary based on different cultural roots, which will open up a whole new world of concepts and ideas to explore.
I have total flexibility to provide my support to your learning, and can suggest valuable but fun methods to make those new words stick.
I will also give you insight into life in Italy and its culture, considering art, history, architecture, sport, and much, much more.

Gabriele is an excellent tutor that approaches all his lessons with thoughtfulness and patience. He has carefully planned a program of study that allows me to meet my fluency goals in time. We speak on a weekly basis about a variety of different topics from culture to politics to economy. Gabriele provides feedback during and after the lesson. When he notices patterns in my speaking, he reviews the relevant grammar rules and puts together exercises to reinforce the lesson. I feel very lucky to be working with him!

Gabriele is helping me improve my conversation and review areas of Italian grammar that (until now!) I never really fully understood. He is very knowledgeable about the Italian language but also how it differs with Spanish (which is useful to me). Lessons are well organised with good materials and he provides helpful corrections and suggestions during our chat - I hope to continue working with him.
