I am a native British 🇬🇧 English speaker from London with approximately 10 years of experience teaching adults. I have advanced training in phonetics, and a qualification in Speech & Language Therapy, which helps me understand how people learn and use language.
I help professionals develop clear, engaging British English speech and communication; and students prepare for the IELTS exam, build vocabulary, and improve pronunciation.
I am learning Russian, so I understand the challenges of learning and expressing yourself in a new language! Whether you need help with general English, IELTS, or workplace communication, I would love to support you in achieving your goals.我的教學經歷

Mary is the best teacher I've ever had, and I'm genuinely grateful for every lesson with her. She's incredibly friendly and supportive, and our work on pronunciation seems to be really efficient. Mary pays great attention to all the sounds that I make and definitely turns this journey into a nice and pleasant adventure. She is also very inspiring and I can't stop smiling after our lessons because I feel happy and overwhelmed (in a best way possible). Always looking forward to our classes and try to keep practicing regularly between them <3

elegant lady with perfect British accent and profound language knowledge~ l have booked at least 30 lessons focused on pronunciation or accent adjustment on italki. Different teachers have different methods and strengths. Lady Mary is professional, that is no disputable. With a wide range of materials and cultural references , she would guide you not just how to say the language naturally, but connect with it deeply. Accent changing is a long-term tough journey. Recommend her classes to those who want to approve their language ability in a solid way.

Mary is everything I ever wanted in a teacher: she is smart, kind and patient. Her lessons are complex, we can work with my pronunciation, speaking and writing skills while reading interesting books. She has a lot of experience with learning different languages herself so she really gets her students and gives many useful suggestion.
I am so happy to have that safe space where I can talk and share my opinion, where I can try to express myself in English and be heard and understood even if my English is not perfect.
I'm looking forward to improve and I can't wait to do it with Mary on our lessons :)
