こんにちは！はなこ と申します。私（わたし）の母国語（ぼこくご）は日本語（にほんご）で、イギリスに夫（おっと)と娘(むすめ)と暮（く）らしています。絵（え）を描（か）くことや、アニメや漫画（まんが）、可愛（かわい）いものが大好（だいす）きです。
Hello! I'm Hanako. I'm a native Japanese speaker, living in the UK with my husband and my daughter. I love drawing illustrations and I love Manga, Anime and cute/kawaii things!我的教學經歷
I've studied abroad in Oxford for 9 months and I've got the B2 level certificate at the school. My husband is British so I speak English everyday. I'm sure my English will improve soon. When I was in England as a student, I felt lots of people are interested in Japanese. They asked me pronunciations, some Japanese words, culture and so on. I was so glad to hear that. Also, my husband and their friends are keen on Japanese Anime. My hobbies are watching Anime and reading Manga so I have lots of opportunity to teach Japanese things in Japanese. Thanks to such great encounters, I decided to become a tutor.我的課程內容與教學風格

Hanako-san was amazing! She was super flexible and open to me sending over specific topics I wanted to work on, which made our session really engaging. During our speaking practice, she helped me recognize and understand keigo in a way that felt approachable and not overwhelming. She’s a great conversational partner who makes learning feel natural and fun. I’d definitely recommend her to anyone looking to improve their Japanese in a relaxed and supportive environment!

I had a great first lesson with Hanako! She is very patient, kind, and encouraging, making it easy to practice speaking without feeling rushed or interrupted. She explains things clearly in English when needed and ensures that I can finish my thoughts, which really helps with confidence.
For future lessons, I think having a clearer plan going in will help maximize our time together, but I see that as something I can work on as well. She also has experience with the Genki textbooks, so I imagine she’d be especially great for learners using those. Overall, a very positive experience, and I’m looking forward to more lessons!
