I am a professional Korean language instructor, dedicated exclusively to teaching Korean online. Since becoming a full-time professional, I have focused solely on Korean education, taking on the role of a coach to support and guide my students. While offline education has its own merits, I strive to harness the advantages of online learning to provide the highest quality education possible. 🎢

I have taught over 500 students from more than 50 different nationalities online, helping them successfully achieve their goals, whether it be preparing for the TOPIK exam, immigrating, studying abroad, or working in Korea. I believe that language is deeply connected to society, law, culture, and history. For this reason, I integrate these aspects into my lessons. 📖

Very friendly and comfortable environment, understanding teacher! Assigns helpful homework, gives feedback on any mistakes you make, and is very flexible with lessons, homework, any class date changes, etc.

Hyun ku rocks!
We’ve been having classes for a while. Working with him has really accelerated my learning. He’s so flexible. I usually come in with topics/grammar that I want to learn and he’s able to effectively help me study them. When I don’t have a topic in mind, he’s always prepared to give me one.
I especially appreciate that he mainly speaks and explains concepts to me in Korean whereas some other teachers tend to mainly speak in English. He’s learned about my interests and even tailors conversations/example sentences to incorporate them!
He’s very encouraging when I speak and corrects me in constructive ways by showing me more natural methods to explain my thoughts. With his help, I feel more confident when conversing with natives in my area.
I look forward to our next class.

Hyun-Ku was an excellent teacher for my first Korean lesson. He created a very comfortable learning environment, and I immediately felt at ease. He patiently guided me through reading Hangul, and we reviewed some basic sentence structures. He also took the time to discuss the textbook and our future lesson plan. I highly recommend Hyun-Ku to anyone starting their Korean language journey. ❤️
