Ciao! I’m Conner, and I’m confident in my ability to get you speaking Italian. I’ve worked with hundreds of students over the years in making real progress. I have an intimate knowledge of how the language works with a degree in Italian Linguistics from NYU in addition to my work as a professional translator. More importantly, I know how to learn a language: I wasn’t born an Italian speaker, I became one! I know the common pitfalls and sticking points and how to overcome them. But it’s not just the language: languages have cultures of their own. From art and music to cuisine, politics, and geography, I can give you an insider’s understanding of this beautiful country I call my home–Italia!我的教學經歷
My academic background and work as a linguist greatly influence how I approach teaching. I understand the language learning process and the best way to approach each student's learning style. My experience as a researcher has helped me understand the dynamics underlying language and how it is learned. I use the communicative approach in my lessons, with an emphasis on how Italian is actually used in the real world. This practicality is met by ensuring that my students also have an intuitive understanding of grammar and structure. My lessons are dynamic, engaging, and fun. I am a structured, empathetic teacher who strives to meet my students' individual language learning needs in a driven, encouraging environment. My lessons build confidence and give my students a sense of being able to accomplish anything.我的教材

Conner is the best teacher you can ever get. His explanations are always clear and really helpful. He'll make you extremely comfortable, relaxed and confident. We'd been preparing for the IELTS for the half of the year and lessons were always fun and chill. Time flew really fast. I absolutely recommend to book a lesson with Conner.
