I come from northern Vietnam and have 12 years of teaching experience in Vietnamese. I love teaching languages! I have been teaching at the National University of Vietnam for seven years. Five-year teaching at the University of Nations and one-year full-time Italki teacher.我的教學經歷
In addition to speaking English as a second language, I also speak Chinese, Hmong, and some Thai. I have liked a new language since I was a kid. Therefore, I myself have experienced good, bad, and ugly experiences, and if you can't get the pressure of the language in an appropriate way. Wowowow! Hai Yen is a fantastic Vietnamese teacher who knows what she is doing. You can tell she puts in a lot of work and enjoys teaching. I requested to learn some slang I can use when I go back to Vietnam and she taught me a bunch of cool / funny phrases. She also provided a powerpoint with illustrations, spreadsheet, and audio files which are very helpful. If you are looking for a AMAZING Vietnamese teacher, look no further! Highly recommend.

We continue to be very impressed with cô Yến for her dedication to teaching our children. She brings a lot of energy, patience and creativity to the way she teaches them and we have seen our children improve a lot in their Vietnamese proficiency since starting lessons with her.
