I love discussing all things related to Literature and Linguistics. In addition, I enjoy researching subjects around Immigration, Natural Language Processing, and Cryptocurrency.
I primarily studied Modern American Literature and Research Writing in my Bachelors program, but also started studying Linguistics at the time. I am now studying Linguistics & Cognition in a Masters program from Italy (though I live in the U.S. now).
I've taught English at various schools, but also worked at a few immigration nonprofits, helping recent U.S. migrants and refugees integrate into American society, often with a focus in workforce and education development.我的教學經歷
CELTA certified (2017)
7+ years of in-person teaching experience: Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL), ranging in levels from Beginner to Advanced; as well as Academic English on both a University and High School level.
5+ years of online teaching experience: Generally in TESL, ranging in levels from Beginner to Advanced; both as an independent freelancer and as an employee with many popular companies.
Bachelors in English; Minors in Linguistics and Creative Writing (2016)

I'm generally student-focused, getting you to speak and use your English as much as possible. I like to give you the tools to hone your skills and focus on reinforcing those skills with our time together.
I can help with a wide range of skills in Conversation, Grammar, Vocabulary, Reading, and Writing. I'm keen to teaching Academic English, but I have materials for lower levels as well. I'm quite adaptable as long as you share with me your learning goals.
My classes are typically English-only. I know a little Italian and Mandarin and am actively studying those languages. However, my actual communication abilities in those languages are not too proficient unfortunately.我的教材
