Hi everyone! Welcome! My name is Vanessa and I’m a Portuguese teacher from Lisbon.
Teaching is without a doubt one of my biggest passions as well as learning about other cultures and traveling.我的教學經歷
I love talking with my students about different cultures and I also love spreading my Portuguese roots.
If you are looking to learn Portuguese from zero, or if you already have some knowledge and you want to keep practicing and improving your skills, I’m here to help you! I would love to be your teacher!我的課程內容與教學風格
For me is extremely rewarding to see a student improve their skills and get confident! I´m a very patient person. My classes are personalized to the student and their own needs. I can use a stricter lesson plan and cover grammar, listening, speaking, pronunciation, writing and reading. Or have a more relaxed approach and base the classes in conversation and pronunciation skills, covering topics that the students are interested in.

This class marked one year of taking lessons from Vanessa and I cannot recommend her enough!! It’s amazing to look back and see how much progress I’ve made and how patient and firm Vanessa has been over that time! I always look forward to our classes, she makes everything so fun and interactive. Highly recommend Vanessa if you are looking for a Portuguese teacher from Portugal!!

My wife Clare and I have been learning Portuguese with Vanessa for almost a year. We have lessons twice a week via Skype. Always on time, professional, calm and kindly, Vanessa guides us through the challenges of learning the language. Our Portuguese has developed significantly and we are now able to navigate many situations without relying on the English language. This is all thanks to Vanessa and her excellent teaching skills.
