Hello! I'm sharon. My Chinese name is Xiǎo ruǐ. I'm from Henan, China.
I am a native speaker of Mandarin. My Mandarin pronunciation is clear with neutral accent.
I majored in English Education in college, and now I work as an English teacher in China with five years working experience. I have great passion in Chinese&English learning and teaching.
I love travelling. I have been to South Korea and Israel. I am enthusiastic to be a tour guide and translator because I enjoy helping people.我的教學經歷
I hope that my students get to know the Chinese culture and customs by learning Chinese.
I believe that teachers with passion inspire students.
When I was in college, I taught lots of foreign friends Chinese. Also, my English skill could contribute to better communicating with my students in Chinese class.

Sharon types the new vocabulary in the chat along with the pinyin + tones which is very helpful. She always teaches the full 1 hour. She is a great listener and always asks questions to clarify if she heard you correctly. She corrects you whenever something you say sounds unnatural. She is not afraid to point out your mistakes. There is never any awkward silence and she always knows how to keep the conversation going.
