My name is Luz Elena, I was born in Distrito Federal, the heart of Mexico, but right now I am living in Guadalajara, Jalisco´s capital.
I am a writer and I was a columnist in “El Diario del Yaqui”. Also a speaker and lecturer at “Universidad de Guadalajara”; I am a written style corrector; also participated as a teacher in a Mexico State government´s program for adult illiteracy.
I love to read, listen to music, watch independent films and, above all, cycling, this, being my main mode of transport through Guadalajara.我的教學經歷
Me as a professor:
I´m versatile and I’ll adapt to each student´s circumstances, while each student has its own unique learning pace.
I´m also constant (I would expect my students to be as well), patient and I enjoy teaching others regardless of their age.

My tutoring consists in real conversations between real individuals.
We will strengthen your Spanish learning, expand your vocabulary while you learn to apply it to real specific circumstances of your own interest. You will learn idioms that only native speakers would know, you will also learn a precise accent and phonetic. All of this adapted to your own learning level.
Mis tutorías son charlas reales entre personas reales. Reforzar tu aprendizaje del español, ampliar tu vocabulario y aplicarlo a circunstancias específicas de tu interés. Aprenderás regionalismos (Idioms), que solo los nativos entenderían, además de un acento y fonética precisos. Todo adaptado a tu nivel de aprendizaje.我的教材

Luz Elena is a wonderful teacher who knows what she’s doing. I was looking for someone who would get and keep me talking Spanish and am very happy to have found that in Luz Elena. I feel very comfortable with her and am not afraid to make mistakes.
