I am a native of Taiwan, known for my gentle, patient, and passionate teaching style. During my leisure time, I delight in reading novels, watching movies, and exploring new destinations through travel. As a native Chinese speaker, I possess extensive knowledge of the language and culture. Teaching Chinese literature has been my lifelong career commitment.我的教學經歷
I hold a master's degree in Chinese literature and teaching certificates for both middle and elementary schools in Taiwan. I have taught at a middle school in Taiwan for seven years and have also taught high school Chinese courses at a well-known cram school. In 2020, I joined italki to help more people who are interested in learning Chinese through online courses.我的課程內容與教學風格

If you are a beginner, I am a certified primary school teacher from Taiwan with extensive experience guiding basic listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.
For intermediate learners, I specialize in situational teaching to ensure a smooth learning experience.
If you are an advanced learner, I hold qualifications as a Chinese middle school teacher in Taiwan, with nine years of teaching experience and a master's degree in Chinese literature. I can also introduce you to idioms, poems, and classical Chinese.

I've taken a few lessons with Ivy and I've enjoyed every single one of them. She provides plenty of feedback and the right amount of motivation and support. She also shares valuable resources for me to study on my own outside of class, leading to noticeable progress after only a month of study with her. Learning Mandarin with her is fun and I'm always looking forward to my next lesson with her!

I really enjoyed this trial lesson with Ms Tsai. She's very nice, I could feel that she was attentive and really tried to understand what my needs are, to then plan out our studies accordingly. I will definitely start having lessons with her.

Our first trial was very successful. Even though my daughter was shy at first, she started to warm up to Ivy. Was very happy with the feedback and suggestions. Can’t wait to learn more.
