I really appreciate that Maria gives me time to try to recall the words I cannot immediately remember. Sometimes I feel like as humans we try to fill the empty space if there is a pause in conversation, so the teacher tries to talk to fill in the gap, but it is incredibly helpful that I can sit there in silence and force my brain to recall the words or come up with a new way of saying it. She waits patiently and helps figure out the missing word and I do not feel pressured and I am so happy when I can actually recall the word I was thinking of!
