I tailor-suit each lesson to your needs and guide you along the way to becoming a native speaker of the English language. I have a Bachelor's in Education (a four-year teaching degree) Cum Laude from the University of Pretoria. 💼
I am highly organised 📜and am always prepared for our lessons together.
I enjoy making lots of jokes and having a good laugh... 🤣😂🤣 humour really helps to learn a new language so much easier! 😁

Our first lesson together will allow us to discuss your needs, and then we can create a plan that would suit your pace and difficulty level. From there, our exciting journey begins... you better put on your seatbelt! 😉
I enjoy incorporating quite a large variety of media to keep our lessons interesting, such as YouTube videos, worksheets, SlideShows, stories, poetry, news articles and even music. I love listening to and chatting about a wide variety of music. Or we can chat informally.
I enjoy reading, writing and public speaking. I am a trained Toastmaster and can help you become a more confident and natural speaker.

If you told me one year ago that one day I'd have such an outstanding teacher I'd admire and his class actually I'd enjoy attending every day, I wouldn't have believed you. But here I am.
The biggest reason I love Luciano's class is the perfect teaching skill he has and his big personality which is larger than life. We literally talk about everything, from past relationships to recent happenings all the way to life philosophy.
I'm so appreciative for the comfortable vibe we have in each class and the friendship we've built along the way. I'll support his class as long as italki still exists.

Luciano has been my teacher for 1.5 year now. Each lesson has always been very fun with him. Luciano can make people feel good when speaking English and I think personally that he is a fantastic teacher! He adapt himself very easily to the needs of the student which that his lessons can be casual or center on one particular topic. Don't be shy and book a lesson with him. You will not regret it ;)

For now, I had 10 lessons with Luciano and all of them were excellent! Luciano is not only a real professional from a teaching perspective, but also a great conversation partner with whom you definitely will laugh a lot. In addition, calls with Luciano were exactly tailored to my needs because of Luciano's adaptive approach. Firstly, we focused on my speaking and pronunciation skills and then moved to writing lessons, which were also miscellaneous and valuable. Finally, it was extremely helpful to see my language from a native speaker's point of view.
I reached my language goals and I’m sure you will achieve yours with such a fantastic teacher!

Another great lesson with Luciano today. We continued with the book "BOUNDARIES" and read a lot about setting boundaries in romantic friendships. It was so funny and ridiculous at the same time. I really enjoyed today's lesson and it was so nice to see you Luciano after a long time 😊.
