Hi ! 👋 I teach French & try to have a positive impact in people's lives. 🙏
I’m Canadian-Italian with a strong background in business and finance. I’ve lived in Italy, Mexico, Hungary, Monaco, Spain, Antigua and Barbuda... 🌎
I have completed yacht design courses & studied German, raised horses & organized a convention in Mexico, skydived once & hiked in Spain often, ventured into Bosnia, Thailand, Panama & 20+ other countries. ✨ Each day is a gift. ✨
For the past 25 years, I’ve worked as a commodities trader. I’ve also been teaching French to learners of all levels since 2017, starting as a teacher in a Spanish university south of Barcelona, with 120 students . ✅

I also run a group called "The French Club" (with 400 active members) and I host weekly Zoom group sessions where learners from different countries practice, gain confidence, and improve together.😊
🚫 Sorry, I do NOT teach French to teenagers or kids (17 and under).
📌 As of May 1, 2025, my fees will change for the following:
🟢 30-min lessons: $17 USD
🟢 45-min lessons: $20 USD
🟢 60-min lessons: $23 USD

François continues to make me feel comfortable during lessons while providing great explanations and content that is just challenging enough that I learn some new vocabulary and grammar while building on my foundation. François is open to suggestions on how you want your lesson to go and is ready to provide you with a lesson that is purely speaking in French on the fly to structured lessons with activities and grammar/vocabulary. He is always open to feedback and that makes him a great teacher. I will continue my lessons with him and it’s something I look forward to every week. 10/10 recommend him! Merci François!

It's always a pleasure speaking with Francois. Our conversations are as natural as possible given my level of French, so I often forget I'm in a 'lesson' and that I'm speaking French!

François is a wonderful teacher. He is knowledgeable, patient, and nonjudgmental. I get the sense he genuinely want’s to help people learn. I am happy that I found a great teacher. If you want to learn French I suggest booking a lesson with François!
