Camp CounselorI used to be a lifeguard at Camp Kennebec, Ontario. Apart from living with and taking care of my campers, I also held yoga, dance, water sport, and swimming lessons as well. I undertook lifeguard training for this position.

ESL tutorI taught English to teenagers and adults. In the 25-minute lessons, students had the option to decide what they wanted to practice.
2017 - 2020
Special educatorI worked in a kindergarten as well as in a high school. I always tried to make my lessons special and unforgettable. I used a lot of creative techniques as well as modern types of equipment.

English TeacherI teach English as a second language in a private English school called “Don’t Panic”. My students vary from A1 level to C1. The main objective of the school is to enhance the communication skills of the students as well as prepare them for different tests.

Member of Foreign AffairsI had the opportunity to be an active member of the Foreign Affairs Committee at the University of Szeged. My task was to inform foreign students of events and translate their documents from English and Serbian to Hungarian. These documents were required to obtain various scholarships.

Survey LeaderAs survey leader, I was in charge of handing out questionnaires on the topic of youth. It summarised some of the most important questions relating to subjects, such as political view, affiliation, religion, and others. This work perfected my knowledge of the Serbian and Croatian languages.

Camp StaffI worked in Long Lake Camp, located in the state of New York. My duties included inventory management and serving food. Thanks to this camp, my knowledge of the English language improved significantly.
2018 - 2018
Server AssistantI served gourmet dishes and beverages in a five-star hotel on Mackinac Island, Michigan. During this job, I developed my English language skills and gained valuable insight into American culture.

I have been learning Hungarian with Karolina for just over a year now.
All her lessons are very enjoyable with excellent and interesting materials that help you develop your day-to-day understanding of the language.
As a teacher she is extremely professional, patient and kind. Leaving you more motivated to learn the language. She works hard to adjust lessons to suit your personal needs, for example covering some of the more complicated grammar points of Hungarian.
I would definatley recommend Karolina as a teacher and have personally developed my confidence and ability in using the language. Which let's face it, is one of more challenging languages to learn but enjoyable at the same time.

I’ve taken a lot of Hungarian lessons with Karolina, and I’ve really enjoyed each of them! She is a great teacher, and amazing at picking up on what level you are and tailoring the lessons so they never feel too hard or too easy. I also like the variety of lessons she creates, they are all really fun and engaging, and I love getting to practice a bunch of different skills.
The best part is that I leave each lesson feeling inspired to keep learning, which is awesome! Thanks Karolina! 😁
