Hey guys! My name's John from the UK and I’m a fully qualified English Language Teacher, specialising in higher-level exam preparation (B2 First, C1 Advanced, C2 Proficiency, IELTS).

I’ve been teaching English for over 10 years and have spent the majority of my time helping students prepare for official exams such as Cambridge and IELTS in Spain, with great success. Teaching these levels for so long has helped me gain a deeper understanding of what exactly the Cambridge and IELTS exams require, as well as the typical errors learners make when preparing for these exams. Don’t make the same mistakes! I also spent two years working for the British Council in China, where I delivered IELTS speaking exams as well as marking the writing element.

My classes are one-to-one so you’ll always be the focus of attention. As our objective will be to pass an official exam, everything we do will work towards this – no wasted time. Before we start, we’ll carry out an evaluation to know your current English level, which will help us shape the direction of our classes.
I only use official exam preparation materials and you’ll get to perfect all elements of your exam. Using Skype or Zoom to deliver the classes, at the end of each class you should feel like you've had an English workout.
Finally, I want you to enjoy the process of learning. Preparing for any exam is serious stuff, but let’s also have a bit of fun along the way!我的教材

I had a few lessons with John for my CAE Advanced preparation. I enjoyed his approach to the lesson organisation. Today we worked on inverion and other useful topics for the exam. John is one of a kind and second to none. Not only does he have a huge array of all the necessary materials to prepare you for an exam, but, most importantly, John is very patient and progress-focused. One who decides to study with him, will see the growth in English in no time.
Every lesson that I ever had with John was bursting with various vocabulary that benefited me both inside and outside the classroom. Hadn’t it been for John, I wouldn’t have even dreamt about passing CAE successfully. During our lessons we were mastering all the aspects of my future exam. John was always ready to answer tricky questions and provide support when I was panicking (and I was panicking a lot). Now I set a goal to take CPE, and I wasn't thinking long and hard about who I’d take this journey with.
If you are still considering whether to start lessons with John, don’t hesitate any longer. John is a marvelous teacher and he has a lot to give.

John is an excellent teacher. I have had a good experience learning English. He tries to encourage you to improve step by step, with a lot of patience, humor, and enthusiasm. He concentrates on correcting you when you speak and gives you support. I recommend his lessons because they are fun and of high quality.
