Hello! I’m Laura, from London, UK, and now living in France, where I’ve been learning French for over 6 years.
I'm a friendly and supportive teacher who is passionate about helping learners of all ages achieve their language goals.
Before becoming an English teacher, I worked as a project manager in healthcare education in the UK. I managed a team of 15 people, created training programs, and interviewed new team members.
In my free time, I enjoy renovating my farmhouse, reading, traveling, cooking, hiking and practicing yoga, and looking after my chickens of course! 🐔

I'm a good listener but also have lots of teaching experience so I can clearly explain ideas, making sure our lessons support your level, needs and interests.
I also love discussing a wide range of topics and learning about the interests of my students.
As your teacher, I will help you and give you plenty of time to talk and practice. I aim to create a safe and relaxed environment to learn in. After all, learning should be at least a little fun!

My classes are designed just for you (of course!) We can focus on relaxed conversation, structured study, or a mixture of both.
Classes can use different resources to support specific language goals or they can be free conversation to help you practice naturally. It’s all about what you want and need from our class. And if you are not sure? No problem! I'll help you to know what to study next :)
In our first lesson, we’ll get to know each other—discuss your goals, interests, and reasons for learning English—and create a personalized plan to support your success.

English tutorI teach English to private students online via Zoom. These classes are one to one, and are planned exclusively for each student according to their level and needs. I develop custom made curriculums for students and provide feedback and learning objectives.

English tutor for adults, teenagers and childrenI currently tutor with an American based, online language platform and have taught over 6250 lessons with them to students from around the world. I have 100% positive reviews and have taught 460 students since I began in 2019, showing that I have a great retention rate of students.

學士學位 - Psychology BSc (hons)My degree focussed on Neuropsychology in it's final year. I am fascinated with how our behaviour and understanding of the world is processed in the brain, and how we can use this knowledge to better understand our actions and reactions, and, of course, how we learn.

Project ManagerI worked as a Project Manager in a University, within the sector of Medical Education. I managed a team of 15 people, organised, developed and lead training courses and worked on national projects, increasing the quality of medical education standards in England.
