“We can talk about anything.”
This phrase is everywhere, yet it feels oddly uninspiring—almost as daunting as the infamous “Tell me about yourself” in job interviews.
Speaking is about sharing, so I’ll go first. Born near Paris, I now live in Japan after more moves than I have fingers (toes included). I love teaching but even more so exploring cultural differences—distinguishing trends from stereotypes (like… you wonder if French people really stink? You can ask me).

Hugo is very helpful, friendly and entertaining! He gives useful tips/resources to remember certain words and tricky grammar rules. He’s great at catching grammar/pronunciation mistakes too. I feel a lot more confident about my upcoming oral expression exam thanks to him! I highly recommend 😄
