I am a professional teacher who owns a language academy in Florida and my passions include history, healthy living, language & linguistics, kayaking & rafting, reading (mostly fantasy and sci-fi), and going to the cinema! I aim to make learning a new language fun, approachable, and attainable for anyone who seeks to utilize my experience as a tutor. My name is Justin and my degree is in Applied Linguistics. In addition, I have obtained my TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) certification, as well as certification as an IELTS Exam Preparation Coach through an officially accredited institution. I have had success over the past many years teaching English as a second language, as well as teaching Spanish. As a student of Linguistics, I have extensive knowledge of grammar and vocabulary, and how to teach them! My concentration in Linguistics is Phonetics and Phonology, so if a good accent and pronunciation is something you are interested in then I am qualified to help!我的課程內容與教學風格
I like to provide a relaxed, but fun, atmosphere for my students. I love constructing lesson plans, and making them as individualized as possible! Due to having a strong foundational knowledge of Linguistics, I am able to answer those "why?" questions a student may have that other teachers and tutors may not be able to answer. This can you true insight into how we think in English! I also want to get to know my students and find out what drives them so I can include their passions in their curriculum. I utilize different materials for all age groups and starting levels. Let's learn together!!我的教材
