I am a native Chinese speaker. My major is English and I have been teaching English and Mandarin Chinese in a public high school for thirty years. I am interested in language teaching very much, especially teaching foreigners Chinese. My Chinese is standard .我的教學經歷

I have plenty of time for students to choose from. What my students need is my first priority. I normally use the platform of Skype where I can share my computer desktop with you. Besides regular teaching, I also help with some special tasks like essays proofreading, job interviews, contracts,visa applications, translation, conversation recording etc.我的教材

I feel that I'm making a lot of progress even though I'm quite lazy. Peter always chooses the right subject, so that I am able to discuss it and at the same time learn new vocabulary/grammar/etc. Overall: highly recommend, 5/5.

Awesome class. I like that I can answer what the Chinese is for a sentence presented in English and that I can better understand spoken Chinese and translate it into English. I also like that I can read some of the Chinese by myself, although some words are still a struggle. The Characters are difficult, but with practice and time, I believe I will get it. Thank for for patiently guiding, coaching, correcting and instructing.

The instructor is very patient which is necessary when learning a foreign language. I appreciate that he lets me think things through when I’m attempting to translate a sentence from Chinese to English and vice versa. I just want to say: “Thank you Laoshi! I feel like I can say a few sentences in Chinese and be understood by others. I have a ways to go but thanks for teaching me. “
