Alex Napoles Tafuri

Alex is an amazing instructor and I always look forward to our lessons. I've noticed a major improvement in my Spanish, especially being more confident in conversation since starting lessons with him a few months ago. Alex is great at understanding my level of Spanish when approaching lessons and is supportive in challenging me to improve. Not only has Alex been a great instructor of the language, he's also been very helpful in understanding Argentine culture, politics, and other aspects of the country in preparation for my trip.

Alex has outdone himself, BEST teacher I've had: he customizes the lessons and prepares fun activities and conversations. I am interested in Argentina and Castellano and so he has taught me Lunfardo words and Argentine/Castellano expressions. Such an amazing process because he will send me resources for personal study. I have seen massive jumps in my Spanish since I started learning from him because he is patient and when I forget a word, or don't know how to say something, he helps me learn on the spot. I kid you not! My Spanish was very beginner when I met Alex. And now I already am speaking faster and smoother and it has only been a few weeks.

Mi primera clase con Alex fue genial :-) ! Yo tenia dudas si mi nivel era suficiente para hablar con alguien con un acento diferente, pero el acento de Alex era muy facil de entender. Alex irradia energia positiva. El tiempo pasó muy rapido durante nuestra clase y por cierto voy a reservar mas clases con Alex. Gracias!

Alex is a wonderful speaking partner and Spanish teacher. He maintains a warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes it easy to feel comfortable speaking. Alex is also just easy to talk to and loves to teach about Argentinian culture and society (and very interested in learning about other cultures). The conversation just flows every time and I'm always surprised at how quickly the time flies by. Would highly recommend to improve one's conversational Spanish!
