Gustavo Lopes

I have just had my first lesson with Gustavo and he is super friendly and he made the lesson very enjoyable! He seamlessly flipped between Portuguese and English to help me with words that I did not know. He is a very engaging conversation partner and he always has something to ask you when you’re not sure what to say. I will definitely be having more lessons with Gustavo soon!

Had my first lesson with Gustavo. Before our class, he messaged me to clarify what my level was and what my goals were. I told him that I wanted to focus on speaking, and he made sure that I did so during class. He is very friendly and patient. He lets me complete my thoughts and doesn't talk over me. He also does a great job of guiding conversation by asking good questions. I'm looking forward to more sessions with him!

Gustavo is a great teacher. He explains clearly, helps you find the right word. In addition, he is nice and friendly. I recommend him

I have never come out of a lesson so hungry! (and I mean that in a good way!) We talked about my many interests including food - which is one of my favorite subjects. I really enjoyed our conversation and Gustavo has an absolutely positive & jovial style that makes you want to just keep talking; highly recommend a lesson with him. Thank you, Gustavo!
