I am Federica from Italy.
Italian is my native language and I speak English fluently, as well as advanced Chinese.
I have always been passionate about foreign languages. In fact, I have a Master's Degree in Foreign Languages, with a specialization in English and Chinese. I have also had the chance to experience different cultures: after my Degree I went to Australia to study English, and later I moved to China for a year. I am currently based in Italy, where I am a full-time Italian language teacher for Foreign students.
I love reading and playing video games. My favorite sports are yoga and swimming. I have 4 fur babies: 3 cats and a dog.我的教學經歷
I hold a certification as a professional teacher (CEDILS certificate) and a CELI oral examinator certification. I teach students of every level, adjusting my approach accordingly.
My experiences are as follows:
- 7 years of experience as teacher of Italian to foreign students, mainly Chinese students
- 6+ years of experience as teacher of Mandarin Chinese for University students
Over the years, I have helped my students reach their academic, professional or personal goals. I have assisted several students in preparing for the CILS and CELI certifications, successfully guiding them to achieve even the challenging proficiency levels of C1-C2.我的課程內容與教學風格
I am able to provide my students with the best solution for their needs and adjust my teaching style to their preferences and needs. In my classes, I like to create a relaxing and welcoming environment, where everybody can express themselves without any fear.
During the first class, I like to discuss with the students their goals and come up with the best solution for them.
I am able to prepare teaching materials as well as using the ones provided by my students.
Being a language student myself, I can put myself in my student's shoes and understand their needs and concerns.我的教材

Tuesday is my CILS B1 test and I am so grateful to Fede for her patience, kindness, and intelligence. Of course she is a wonderful teacher, but most of all she is just a good person. A person that cares about her students and wants to give the best to each person. I think that is super hard to find... finding a treasure. Thank you Fede once again. I will be keeping in touch and will let you know how the test goes. I would not be as confident and prepared without you. Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!

Federica is fantastic. She is very passionate, wants you to learn and takes her work seriously while be light and kind during learning. I love that we do a practice of conversation and also gramatics which is what I need. Grazie Federica!
