Emphasizing practical communication skills, we dedicate a substantial portion of each session—around 15-20 minutes—to speaking. Additionally, we cover grammar, vocabulary, and exercises, applying these concepts to real conversation.
To enhance comprehension and inject some fun into our sessions, we occasionally engage in linguistic games like crosswords. If desired, we can incorporate activities such as dictations and listenings to further enrich the learning experience. Luciana continues to be incredible. Great mix of Italian culture, practical language practice, and grammatical structure. I initially started these lessons to prepare for simple phrases to use on vacation, but Luciana and her teaching style relit a passion for continued lifelong language learning.

We look forward to our lessons with Luciana. They’re a big part of our “perfect” Sundays. There are times where it feels like we are simply spending time with our wonderful friend from Italy. Other times we get to experience a lesson crafted by a master teacher. I cannot recommend Luciana highly enough!

I've been taking lessons with Luciana for a year now. She is very patient and understanding, I used to think it would take me 5+ years to learn how to speak properly, but I now feel I can get there in 2-3. Lessons with her are very fun and informative at the same time, I learn new stuff on every topic. Highly recommend her to anyone, she'll make it feel easy!
