I was born in Japan and raised in Fukuoka—I love this place!
I teach one-on-one conversation lessons and enjoy helping students improve their Japanese. Many of my students love Japan and share great stories. After studying Japanese with me, many of them have visited Japan.
One of my greatest joys is getting to know my students better and helping them practice Japanese through real-life conversations. Since it's one-on-one, you can talk about anything you like. If you love talking a lot, this is perfect for you! We can also discuss deeper, more personal topics as we build our connection.

"Enjoy Japanese" Let's work up a good sweat by speaking a lot.
For general : I will teach you the "GENKI textbook", with which you can learn the Japanese language and culture.
Basically, the textbook is not opened during the lesson.
After the lesson, we send you feedback and give a small test for confirmation.
My lessons are efficient, which saves your time and gives you more time to speak by preparing and reviewing your lessons.
I encourage you and help you make sentences on your own with the grammar you learned.我的教材

Mika-sensei is a great teacher! I’ve done many lessons with her and she’s always very encouraging and patient with me. We do some free talk and some grammar based on the genki books, I feel like I was able to improve a lot of because of her! ありがとうございます🙂

I've been taking lessons with Mika-Sensei for three years now! It's amazing how time flies. I've been super busy with my college work as I am nearing the end of my degree program but I still love to try and make time to take Japanese lessons with Mika-Sensei and get that practice in whenever I can. It's always so much fun learning new words and phrases! Once I graduate from college, I fully plan on devoting much more of my time to learning and studying Japanese with Mika-Sensei!
