My classes are didactic, fun and focused on your interests. I have structured material to guide you through this process with much love and dedication.

I want my students to learn to speak Spanish as a native speaker does. I have had experience teaching in high school. I consider myself a teacher who has a vocation and a love for teaching. I like to work a lot on pronunciation, expressions, grammar, and vocabulary in real practice. I like to focus on all the language skills, especially on speaking. I want my students to lose the fear of expressing themselves and of making mistakes. Fortalecimiento de las competencias de docentes LE - Universidad del Atlántico - 2022FORTALECIMIENTO DE LAS COMPETENCIAS DE LOS DOCENTES DE LENGUAS
EXTRANJERAS. En éste diplomado fortalecí mis competencias como profesora de lenguas extranjeras (bilinguismo, evaluación, PBL Project, etc) mejoré mis habilidades como profesora de Español Lengua Extranjera. Obtuve calificación 4.8/5.0 en mi proyecto de grado, en el cuál desarrollé una unidad didactica. Objetivo: mejorar la escritura, fluidez, pronunciación, el uso adecuado del lenguaje y el dominio del discurso frente al público.

Conversation lessons with Maria are both fun and educational! She is very energetic and creative as a teacher, making the sessions very enjoyable. We cover a variety of topics each time, generating a new set of vocabulary, which she documents carefully, and also provides helpful resources to keep me busy in between sessions. Thank you Maria!
