Hello! :) I am a CELTA-qualified teacher living in Worcester, England.
I help students prepare for IELTS and C1 Advanced so that they can fulfil their dreams of studying abroad. Several of my previous students now live in the UK and the US and are having a great time eating hamburgers, making friends and visiting medieval towns, not to mention earning their degree at prestigious universities.
I graduated from the University of Sheffield with a 1st Class BA in French & Hispanic Studies in 2020 and have been teaching English in various settings since 2019. It always brings me great joy to see my students progress and gain confidence.

I take a patient, student-based approach to teaching to reduce the anxieties that can sometimes be associated with language learning and exam preparation.
I specialise in IELTS preparation and have completed specific training in order to understand the test in depth, as well as how examiners assess writing and speaking. As such, you can rest assured that my comments/recommendations/corrections etc. are relevant and will help you improve your score.我的課程內容與教學風格
I use high-quality, official materials from Cambridge English, IDP, the British Council and other reputable sources.
It is possible to take a longer, more comprehensive course or a shorter course, depending on the time you have available. We can also focus on individual skills like Speaking or Reading if you feel you only need to improve in specific areas.
I offer a mock Speaking test for the IELTS test in which I will give you an approximate score based on the official marking criteria.
IELTS and C1 Advanced are challenging tests so I ask that my students complete homework and dedicate time to private study. This includes things like reviewing vocabulary, reading articles online, etc.我的教材

CELTA - Pass B - The University of Sheffield - 2021120 hour course based on language acquisition and pedagogical theory researched by Cambridge University. The course included 6 hours of assessed individual teaching, as well as collaborative planning, peer observation, shared evaluation and feedback. Received a Pass B (Merit).

Focus on speaking skills including preparing for debates and oral exams and pronunciation practice, also taught English Literature including Shakespeare and the novel The God of Small Things. Sasha is an amazing teacher. She’s really invested in lessons, leaves detailed feedback after the classes, including comments on your mistakes and the list of new words with explanation, checks difficult cases with dictionaries and grammar books. She’s also a very well-educated person who’s interesting to talk to. I can never get enough of her classes ❤️
