As an American teacher I have been residing in Guatemala for over a decade and have taught in fields such as world history, English literature, and English as a second language. I enjoy traveling and experiencing different cultures. I take joy in the art of film, novels, and music. I myself am an author aside from a teacher tending towards the vibrant creative world of science fiction.
Aside from working as an italki teacher work in Guatemala as a college prep teacher helping Guatemalan students achieve acceptance and scholarships to prestigious US colleges. This includes, but not limited to, SAT and TOEFL preparation.我的教學經歷
Though equipped with an academic mind I consider myself a laid back teacher who likes to laugh and joke. I enjoy getting to know my students to better identify their needs in the language. I attempt to find topics the student may be interested in and using such material in the teaching of the language to create an overall better experience.

Classes are flexible in teaching style. They can be teacher center, teacher center, or a variance between the two. They can also be focused based where specific English skills in varying professional branches can be emphesized.

Robert is great as I expected. He has rich minds and beautiful thinkings. We had a wonderful random conversation for my first class and he provided me a list of habitual language mistakes that I made during talks. I am looking forward to the coming class next week.
