Hello! My name is Gin and I am an Italian native speaker who would love to help you feel more confident with your Italian language skills!
I just came back from Hanoi where I was doing a double degree in teaching Italian as second language. It was an amazing experience, I thought many classes of Italian and had lots of fun.我的教學經歷
Having studied foreign languages myself I know it can be difficult sometimes, so I am a very patient and understanding teacher.
I cheer my students all the time, and I am very happy when I see they make progresses.
I also strongly believe learning foreign languages has to be a customised and enjoyable experience, this is the reason why I adapt my lessons to my students' needs and strongly encourage the use of spoken Italian even at a lower levels.我的課程內容與教學風格
I believe fun is key, because if you're not having fun while learning a new language it is very probable you won't continue studying it.
My lessons are informative but enjoyable at the same time, I mainly use the books of "Nuovo Espresso" that have engaging activities.
My lessons are a safe environment where mistakes have to be made in order to learn.
In fact my teaching style guides my students to figure out Italian rules by themselves. This will help them understand Italian rules better and remember them for a longe timer.我的教材

I have loved working with Gin over the last year! My Italian has improved a great deal and I am feeling more confident than I ever have with speaking. Gin is encouraging, kind, and flexible! Gin is an incredible teacher!! I call her weekly to chat in Italian and practice conversation skills.
I love chatting with Gin, she makes learning and practicing Italian so easy and enjoyable. She is very encouraging and patient and finds a perfect balance between letting me correct myself and helping me correct my mistakes :)!

Volevo migliorare il mio italiano e ho avuto la fortuna di trovare e conoscere Gin. Lei è una insegnante molto simpatica e positiva, e le sue lezioni sono sempre molto interessanti. Mi diverto durante ognuna che facciamo e mi ha aiutato a non avere paura di parlare. Mi ha anche offerto aiuto con preparazione per la mia maturità d'italiano, è una persona molto genuina. Posso solo raccomandare le sue lezioni!
