Hello, my name is Daniel Costa de Oliveira and I was born in Lisbon, the capital of Portugal.
From early on, one of my biggest passions has been to travel the world and connect with people.
I worked full-time as a Personal Trainer for four years, sold ice cream in parks during the summer and did catering jobs.
But the moments I feel happiest are when I am travelling, sleeping in hostels and connecting with people from different backgrounds with different stories

As a student you can expect someone really chill with the desire to help you reach your language goals. Since the beginning i am used to connect with people so you can be very relaxed and with no need to be shy. Everyone does mistakes when trying to speak other language , that is normal, you probably notice some of them when reading this ahah我的課程內容與教學風格
In our sessions you can expect a very informal learning. Basically we will be practicing your communication skills, talking about many different themes of your interest or proposed by me. If you are starting the language you don't need to worry. Using English as a bridge i will give you all the basic stuff that you need to start talking and get better.

Daniel is an exceptional Portuguese tutor! In just 5 weeks of twice-weekly lessons, I've gone from an absolute beginner to being able to write, read, and hold simple conversations. Daniel is patient, prepared, and very friendly and engaging. His lessons build upon each other and he gives great feedback on pronunciation and grammar. He plans his lessons well but he is also flexible, adapting in the moment to my interests and progress. Switching to 60-min lessons helped add valuable conversation practice alongside structured learning. Fantastic teacher!
