Jules Zhu

I had a great lesson with Jules Zhu. I told her I wanted to practice listening and speaking, because I often feel nervous in conversation. Jules Zhu was very patient and asked lots of questions so we always had something to talk about. She talked to me at my level. A calm, caring teacher :) Thank you!

Jules is very patient with me when my brain feels "messy" and I forget my vocabulary. She is also very fun to chat to. Even when I'm not using Chinese it's just helpful to have someone to chat to.

Another great lesson with Jules. This one was harder as I had to try to understand a story by just listening (which is what I struggle with the most), but it's a good challenge.

I love chatting with Jules, so I find it great that she doesn't mind when we go off topic from the materials and talk about other things. Overall I feel my speaking is improving a lot with her.

Jules is so patient and she makes lessons relaxed and fun by letting me talk about different topics that are related to what we are studying. This way really helps me remember things more easily. I have no rush to get through materials quickly, since learning Chinese is a hobby for me, so I love that Jules is happy to adapt the lesson plan to let us talk about other things. My spoken Chinese is improving hugely thanks to this relaxed environment. I really enjoy our lessons.
