I was raised in the Bay Area of California, just south of San Francisco. After studying graphic design, I worked for a newspaper company in Oregon for a few years. In 2018, I left the US and moved to Mexico, where I invested in farming blue agave. I love exploring the outdoors, hiking, camping, and water rafting, but my favorite activity is traveling. So far, I've visited five countries and plan to move to Turkiye in August. I enjoy uploading my travels to my YouTube channel. Video editing is a new hobby of mine. I am currently ranked in the top 5 of the world’s worst guitar players.

I'm new to italki, but with 5 years of experience teaching over 1,040 students from 35 countries and conducting 9,100+ lessons, I'm well-equipped to help you improve your English. I tailor each lesson to your level, ensuring effective and personalized sessions. We'll start by improving your pronunciation and boosting your vocabulary. Once you're comfortable, we'll focus on grammar and conversational skills, whether for casual conversations or business English. My goal is to help you become a confident and proficient English speaker.

Our first step will be to improve your pronunciation while simultaneously boosting your vocabulary. Once you are comfortable, we will focus on getting your grammar to a conversational level. Finally, we will concentrate on enhancing your conversation skills, whether for general small talk or business English. I use a variety of resources, including my own materials, online websites, and ChatGPT lessons, to provide a comprehensive and engaging learning experience. My goal is to help you become a confident and proficient English speaker in every aspect of your communication.

I've been working with Allex to improve my English pronunciation, which has always been a real challenge for me. He's incredibly patient and supportive, always correcting my mistakes in a kind and constructive way. What I really appreciate is that he doesn’t just point out what's wrong—he helps me find creative and practical ways to say difficult words more naturally.

This is my second class with Allex. The different exercises we worked on during the session were interesting. Allex is patient, professional, and methodical. My main goal is to improve my speaking skills in English (to communicate more easily and speak more fluently) and for that, having the opportunity to talk and be corrected is essential. He has also made me aware of some pronunciation mistakes, which I’ve found both interesting and important. I'm looking forward to our next lesson!
