Hi, I'm Nat (Natsu). I'm 35 years old and a native Japanese speaker from Kanagawa. I love traveling and have visited many countries. I also like movies, anime and painting. I've been learning English and Spanish for many years, so I truly understand the feeling of learning a foreign language! I'm a friendly and easy-going teacher, so you can relax and learn at your own pace with me :)我的教學經歷
I believe that in order to speak a language like a native speaker, it helps not only to have language knowledge but also to understand the culture of the country. So in addition to the basics, I also share cultural tips and useful expressions used by native speakers.
And the most important thing for me is to understand my students' feelings. I often take other language classes on italki as a student, so that experience has helped me a lot in improving my teaching skills.我的課程內容與教學風格
My teaching style is casual, interactive and balanced.
There are two things I would like my students to experience through my lessons:
(1) Get used to communicating in Japanese and gain your confidence instead of worrying about mistakes
(2) Discover and experience things that you can not learn from textbooks or self-study
I ask students about their needs, interests and goals at first. Then I plan and customize the lessons for each student. I'll also help students stay confident and motivated!我的教材

Nat is the best teacher I have had. She sets goals for the lesson and explains things so well. We have our class in Japanese but if I don’t know a word in Japanese she is always able to help me with English. Always learning so much ☺️

I have been studying with Nat for months, and can‘t recommend her enough. She is very patient and gives creative, easy to understand explanations for words or expressions I dont understand yet. She makes it easy to carry a conversation and is always pleasant and kind. I also like that she has been slowly increasing the difficulty of the material we use according to my level - that has been immensly useful for the development of my japanese skills. I hop to continue studying with her for a long time!

This is truly one of the best and most unique Japanese language teacher on this platform. I've been taking classes with her for over a year, and she still brings incredible energy and joy to every session. Whether the material is challenging, if I'm falling behind, or if it takes me weeks to grasp something, she is always patient, incredibly helpful, and kind. I highly recommend her as a teacher!
