I am from Sapporo, and I study at the University of Tokyo.
(I am currently studying at Seoul National Univ. in Korea as an exchange student. )
I have spent 4 years of my childhood in Maryland, US and became fluent in English. In my high school years I was attracted by Korean culture which drove myself into learning Korean. I have passed TOPIK Grade 6 in April 2021. I am a mature yet cheerful person who likes interacting with people of all ages. My hobby is listening to KPOP and playing the piano :)

小学生の頃４年間アメリカのメリーランド州に住んでいたため英語を流暢に話すことができます。高校生の頃,
韓国の文化に興味を持って以降韓国語を学んでおり、2021の春にはTOPIK6級を取得しました。
明るく落ち着いた性格で、老若男女問わず人と話すことが好きです。趣味はKPOPを聴くことやピアノを弾くことです:)我的教學經歷
「二つの言語には構造上、特性上どういった違いがあるのか」を丁寧に解説し、できるかぎり「ネイティブの思考」を共有します。生徒様のレベルに応じて日本語と生徒様の母語の使用バランスを調節し、毎回適度に「ぎりぎりわからない」時間を与えることで疑似留学のような授業を展開します。「ぎりぎりわからない」と粘り強く向き合い自らの知識を整理する時間こそ語学力向上のチャンスだと考えているためです。
I will try my best to tell you the differences in structure and characteristics between the two languages and take you on a tour inside the "brain of a native speaker." I will chose the right balance in the usage of languages depending on the your proficiency and make sure to always give you phrases which you are "just a step behind of" from understanding. When you face these phrases, you have got the best opportunity to organize your knowledge yourself, which I believe is the key to success.我的課程內容與教學風格
生徒様の学習目的、学習スタイルに合わせて柔軟に対応いたします。ご希望によっては詳細な学習計画や予習、復習用の教材もご提案いたします。カジュアルな会話の練習も大歓迎です。基本はzoomを用いますが、skypeやtencent等他にご希望の媒体があればご相談ください。
I will provide you the necessary methods and content depending on your goal and studying style. I could also make suggestions on textbooks, either preparatory or for reviewing. I prefer to hold sessions on ZOOM but requests for other apps (Skype, Tencent etc) is welcomed.我的教材

I was late because I've never used Italki Classroom before, and couldn't figure out how to give permissions for my mic/cam, but thank you for being understanding.
I just did a trial lesson- it was a fun conversation with a mix of all korean, japanese, and english about travel and goals. I was very nervous and often defaulted to english, but the atsmosphere was comfortable enough that I know it's something I'll be able to work on. Thank you!

Haruto is extremely casual and open to whatever level you find yourself at. I really enjoyed chatting with him about my own goals and struggles with learning Japanese and his attentiveness and insightfulness on what I can improve on was extremely helpful. He set a plan for what our lessons would look like and overall I'm extremely satisfied with my trial lesson with Haruto!
