I´m Laura, I´m from Colombia and I enjoy learning languages and teaching Spanish. I also like photography and filmaking. I admire nature, love traveling, discovering new cultures and doing outdoors activities like going in a treck, camping or working out. Hay varias maneras de aprender un idioma y una de las mejores es simulando que estas en el país donde se habla aquel idioma, se le llama aprendizaje inmersivo. La idea es que te familiarices rápidamente con el idioma español por medio de charlas. También podemos hacer lecturas de tu preferencia, ejercicios de pronunciación y repasar vocabulario por medio de imágenes, videos, audio o texto, de forma que puedas recordar mejor las palabras y expresiones, alcanzando una mayor fluidez en el Español.

I've worked with many different teachers on italki and Laura is one that I always come back to to improve my Spanish with engaging conversation. She has a great style of teaching with the student as the protagonist throughout the whole lesson. I never feel bad making a mistake in front of her and look forward to every lesson we have together. I highly recommend Laura as a teacher!!
He trabajado con muchos profesores distintos en italki y Laura es una a la que siempre vuelvo para mejorar mi español con una conversación interesante. Tiene un gran estilo de enseñanza con el estudiante como protagonista a lo largo de toda la lección. Nunca me siento avergonzado por cometer errores delante de ella, y espero con mucho interés cada lección que tenemos juntos. ¡Se la recomendaría altamente como profesor a ustedes!

Laura is a great teacher. There is never a lull in the conversation as she uses various tools to keep you engaged and interested. There are lots of opportunities to speak and to test your listening skills. I would highly recommend Laura if you want to improve your Spanish!
