Hello.
My name is Azusa.
I’m from Chiba, Japan, and now live in Tokyo.
Also, I have lived in Osaka for about 15 years.
So I usually speak no accent Japanese, but if you are interested in “Kansaiben” (it means Kansai accent Japanese), I can speak it fluently too.
Just request me.
I have many hobbies.
I like eating, drinking with my friends, playing volleyball, watching movies, playing the flute, and traveling.
I've been to Canada, America, the Philippines, Korea, Singapore, and many places in Japan.
What's your hobby? Please tell me in Japanese!

日本の千葉県で生まれて、今は東京の新宿に住んでいます。
大阪にも15年間住んでいたので、標準語の他に関西弁も話すことができます。

I passed the Japanese Language Teaching Competency Test, and I am a licensed professional teacher.
I am very passionate about teaching.
I know how hard it is to learn a foreign language because I’ve studied English abroad in Canada for a year.
So, in my lesson, don’t worry about making mistakes!

My lesson is from beginner to advanced.
If you don't know any Japanese words, let's start with learning basic greetings.
I focus on conversations and I would like to help you improve your speaking and listening skills.
If necessary, I can teach you basic grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and how to write Hiragana, Katakana, and Kanji.

I started taking weekly lessons with Azusa to prepare for a trip to Japan.
I had previously studied Japanese for a few years, but had forgotten a lot of it, so I needed some conversation practise, vocab reminders etc.
Azusa has been very professional and friendly, creating a positive and supportive learning environment while I make my mistakes and try to remember the words I need.
I especially like how she writes down important things in the chat so it’s easy to come back to and study.
I definitely recommend Azusa as a teacher and I will continue taking lessons with her!

I know a bit of Japanese, but I haven't had a chance to speak it much. Azusa was very patient with me. After this lesson, l am happy to spend more time working with her and getting more comfortable speaking again.
