🌈 Hello! Thank you for visiting my profile. I am from Xalapa, Mexico, and I have a background in Physics at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). My hobbies are playing chess, sports, meditating and making art. I love teaching Spanish on italki.我的教學經歷
Practice makes perfect and here I am to practice with you! 🔥
I am very patient with my students but I take very seriously my job which is help you get better at Spanish, so I also am disciplined when it comes to studying, but don't worry because most likely we won't study during the class time but rather practice what you already know. For kids and teenagers the classes are split in conversation practice (5-10 min), comprehensible input activities (30-35 min) and watching a video according to their age (15 min). 📚我的課程內容與教學風格
My main approach to teaching is using Crosstalk which is basically you speaking in English and me in Spanish. If you're familiar with Dreaming Spanish, then you should already know what I'm talking about.
In my opinion it works best with basic and intermediate learners. I have seen with my own eyes incredible results with my students, who also love this unorthodox way of learning Spanish. But if you already speak Spanish, then I can surely help you practice. I love meeting knew people and making friends all around the world.

Dyck is a fantastic teacher--I'm so glad I found him on iTalki! He is very friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. I felt comfortable talking to him and I really enjoyed his teaching method. I learned several words just in my first session. I'm very excited to take more lessons with Dyck!
