Previously, I did not consider a teaching career. It happened so that my friends asked me to teach them basic Tibetan in a group. Now, after about 30 lessons with them and some generously favourable feedback, I have realised I enjoy teaching and, probably, can make myself useful in this field. I also continue studying my own languages – through fiction, dictionaries, grammar books, style guides etc. So, I am ever immersed in the topic.
