I am interested in my students learning slangs and how to speak in a less formal way, having everyday conversations. I like to talk about topics that challenge people with their vocabulary and knowledge.

Tengo más de 15 años de experiencia como profesora, ayudando a hablar de manera confiada y fluida a personas desde 2 años de edad, hasta mayores de 70. Me parece que ejercitar un idioma a través de escuchar y hablar, nos ayuda a pensar en esa lengua, lo cual genera que nuestro cerebro se sienta mas confiado en practicar las estructuras propias del idioma practicado. La idea de practicar a través de conversaciones espontáneas, es porque en la vida pocas veces conoceremos el vocabulario y tema sobre el cuál tendremos que expresarnos. Las clases con niños son a través de canciones y juegos, para divertirnos, así pasarán un tiempo creativo y entretenido, mientras practican español.

Teaching is a late calling for me. In July, 2010, I obtained the Master in Teaching (Bolonia endorsed). I had been a support teacher in Middle and High Schools, an English teacher in Spain and a teacher of Spanish abroad (a year and a half in Norway as a ‘spansklærer’), and this year I was offered the chance to become a teacher in the Spanish Department in the Southern Federal University at Rostov on Don (Yu-Fu). Tough as I said I had experience teaching kids and youngsters, right now I dont want to have this kind of students and less if it is unannounced and without giving me the chance to decide if I want them or not (two experiences of the sort lately)

I also have a certificate from the International Open Academy in teaching Spanish as a foreign language and a certificate from the UNAM in Spanish language mistakes. I believe that there is no better satisfaction than helping someone with my native language because I feel that I am helping them to get to know a new world.
