I am Spanish -from Madrid- but I live in the UK, where I've spent 10 years tutoring and teaching the language. Most of the Spanish I teach is generic, so it can be used in any Spanish-speaking country. There may be some words or expresions however that are specifically Spanish from Spain, which is the one I use the most.
