I started learning my first foreign language at 29 and spent years avoiding conversation because I was afraid of sounding stupid. When I learned my second and third languages, I decided not to repeat that mistake. After a 10-year legal career, I became a full-time teacher and never looked back. I also discovered the value of physical and mental strength. I started lifting weights at 36, lost 22 pounds, and trained in calisthenics, climbing, Muay Thai, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Chinese pole, and parkour. These experiences taught me that discipline and consistency can transform your life. I help introverts, neurodivergent learners, and anyone who feels out of place find their voice in a new language. My goal is to show that you're never too old, too shy, or too different to learn. My lessons focus on active use, not passive listening. Every student receives personalized tasks based on their level and goals. During the trial lesson, I'll learn about your interests and create a study plan designed for you. I believe people learn best by doing, so that's how I teach. Introverts, neurodivergent people, and LGBTQIA+ students are welcome exactly as they are. My classroom is a space where you can learn, grow, and be yourself.

My method is combining psychological science and personal experience in order to build an increasingly complex (nuanced) model for learning languages. Aside from conversing with my students and "intellectualizing" the language (discussing grammar etc.) I like to help the student to start to build his or her own model for learning languages. I want my students to become more and more independent in their learning. I am also a student of psychology at the University of Linköping in Sweden.
