Today has been a pretty boring and disheartening day. I have not discovered yet the accurate cause. It just feels like something is amiss. Maybe because I haven’t seen my beloved ones for a long time, or maybe it may be just out of the absence of sun. Yeah, today there’s no sun at all, a really unexpected event to see. The city where I work is a very sunny place, every pedestrian in this city has already been sun bronzed and out of breath on summer days. Therefore, it really is a mysterious phenomenon, maybe the warming globe effect has already reached the city. But out of all the reasons, the sun was missed a lot, or maybe not.

Problems are an inevitable part of personal development. People may lose their jobs, get sick and sometimes even die in accidents. When you're young and things aren't going very well for you, it's hard to understand it to the full extent. But the smartest and at times the hardest thing we can do in such situations is to use our reactions to strenghten our will and determination. You may want to scream for as long as you want, throw things at the wall, cuss out - but you're above all of these, right? Inability to keep emotions under control usually makes things even worse. And although tragedies are indeed bad, they give us an opportunity to become stronger.

It was sunny today, but I felt miserable because I had three math classes in a row. I’m still confused about those algebraic operations involving negative numbers. Math isn’t my forte. Anyway, I also studied an article about genetically modified crops. My great-grandma always complains about them. She forbids us from eating a lot of things and considers GM foods to be poisonous. Well, scientifically, there isn’t any evidence to support her belief. And I think it’s inevitable to eat GM foods, because most items on the shelves are GM products. How can you tell them apart?

A teacher asked me to stay with a student in the cookery room. I did, but it was still burning because the rice was at the bottom. The student was cooking chicken and rice with a pressure cooker. Many staff came to ask what happened. It was funny. In the evening, I bought four large potatoes in the supermarket which only cost 1.7 RMB. The seller told me not to eat them (they are dangerous for eating). I’m fasting (one meal a day). Also, because I move frequently, I don't have a cooker. Sometimes I’m really hungry, especially when I haven’t eaten enough lunch. I pace by restaurants and also see a lot of stalls on the road. The smell of cooking makes me think about a lot of things, such as my youth in my hometown. I always feel like I am living in a different world. My accent unchanged, my hair much thinned; None of the children know who I am, With smiles they ask, “sir, where are you from?”

As one of the people who was born during the 1980s, we grew up with a great sport event. It was held every four years. 22 players chased a ball on a green field up and down. around the field, many thousand fans screamed and celebrated when the team got a goal. Yes, it's definitely The World Cup. One of the biggest sport events in this blue planet. In 1998, with a Latin dance, the Gallic Legion held up the cup with the sadness on Ronaldo's face. In 2002, Ronaldo became the winner. In 2006, a shy boy from Argentina attracted the world's attention. Then Leo Messi became the hootest topic for each event. After failed a few time, eventually he led his team climbed up to the top of the montain. Argentina never believed tear. The most interesting thing I remembered about this event happened in 2010. I was suprised to find that it;s snowing during one of the matches. The 2022 World Cup was also impressive, because it happened in winter. What an amazing sport event!
