Professional lessons from a teacher with more than 20 years' experience Having been in the profession since 1999, I have had the chance to teach many different subjects to many different people and at many different levels. Before becoming an English teacher, I was a science teacher in secondary schools in Rwanda and England. Then I moved on to English teaching as my love of travel and languages took me away from the laboratory. During that time, I've learned many different teaching styles, not just from books and training courses, but from the students themselves. In 2018, I started to teach online and I've been improving my online teaching technique ever since.
