Kids Spanish Course: Español en casa - Fun Learning for Ages 6-10

Beginner level Spanish course for teenagers and adults.

Our Spanish language teaching program is designed for students at A1, A2, and B1 levels, providing a clear structure and high-quality resources for language learning. We use materials from well-known sites such as StudySpanish and ProfeDeELE to ensure that students have access to relevant and well-developed content.

Program Levels

Level A1: Focuses on the fundamentals of Spanish, including basic vocabulary and elementary grammar. Students will learn to introduce themselves, talk about their surroundings, and perform simple interactions. Each level consists of approximately 30 one-hour lessons.

Level A2: Expands on the knowledge acquired at Level A1, introducing more complex grammatical structures and additional vocabulary. Students will be able to describe past experiences and express simple opinions. Each level consists of approximately 30 one-hour lessons.

Level B1: Designed to consolidate and expand language skills. Students will learn to handle more complex situations, discuss topics of interest, and understand longer and more detailed texts. Each level consists of approximately 30 one-hour lessons.

Resources and Practices

Each level includes a variety of resources and practices tailored to learning relevant vocabulary and grammar. The activities are carefully selected to ensure structured and effective learning. Additionally, students will receive homework based on the activities of each level to reinforce their learning.

At the end of each level, students will take a level test provided by Tía Tula to assess their progress and ensure they are ready to advance to the next level.

Our program aims to provide a structured learning experience, helping students see their progress clearly and stay motivated. With continuous practice and assessment, we focus on ensuring each student achieves solid Spanish proficiency appropriate to their level.

In this class, children who are already fluent in Spanish can practice the language while embarking on exciting imaginary adventures. We’ll travel to unknown planets, sail mysterious seas, and create stories full of unique characters and fun situations. Through role-playing, interactive storytelling, and plenty of creativity, children will not only maintain their fluency but also expand their vocabulary and conversation skills in a natural and engaging way. This class is perfect for young explorers.

Imaginative Play and Conversation in Spanish for Fluent Kids

I have received formal training in Sign Language interpretation through the Asociación de Sordos de Honduras. Additionally, I have undergone extensive training in sign language education, interpretation, and translation through my work with the deaf community. Over the years, I have developed expertise in teaching and translating sign language, allowing me to communicate effectively and provide linguistic support to the deaf. My experience extends beyond interpretation, as I also teach literacy

I am a certified ELE (Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language) teacher from the Colegio de Español Tía Tula, an accredited center by the Instituto Cervantes. This certification is a specialized training that has equipped me to teach Spanish to students of all ages and levels, using effective pedagogical methods and teaching resources tailored to each student's needs.

I worked as a Spanish coach, where I facilitated online conversation sessions with students from various U.S. universities. I focused on improving their fluency and cultural understanding through dynamic, contextualized conversational methods.

I coordinated the coaching team in Honduras, overseeing performance and ensuring quality standards in learning sessions. I implemented communication protocols and enhanced team efficiency, contributing to the success of the online conversational program.

As Quality Manager, I ensured that all coaches met the required quality standards by providing continuous support and training. Additionally, in my role as Coach Support, I assisted coaches outside of Honduras, facilitating problem resolution and ensuring consistency in session delivery.

I managed LinguaMeeting's cultural immersion program, coordinating activities and experiences that enriched students' learning. I integrated cultural elements into conversation sessions to enhance their understanding and appreciation of the language.

Teach online Spanish classes, adapting content to the needs of each student. I use interactive and personalized methods, integrating teaching materials and digital resources to effectively teach speakers of different levels.

As a volunteer, I have worked on literacy programs for the deaf, teaching sign language and developing essential communication skills. I implemented educational programs focused on inclusion and access to education for the deaf, in collaboration with a specialized translation center.

I developed a course consisting of three books designed to teach Spanish to children. The course includes visual materials, interactive exercises, and links to digital games, providing a comprehensive and enjoyable learning experience. I use this material in my classes, and it has been instrumental in the success of my students.
