In this course we will read the international bestseller ‘Sapiens - A Brief History of Humankind’ by Yuval Noah Harari. We will read the book over 10 lessons. We will discuss the issues and ideas raised in the book.
This is a fascinating book that explains the history of humanity from the beginning of our species until today. This course is perfect for anyone who is looking for a new and exciting way to improve their English. The course is perfect for university students and anyone with an interest in history.
***IMPORTANT - It is necessary to buy or download your own copy of the book and you will be asked to read a few chapters each week BEFORE the lesson***
***IMPORTANT - this book is quite big, you will be required to read 2 chapters each week. For most people this means reading at least a few pages every single day!***
The course includes:

In the lessons we will:

How It Works:
READ: You read the appropriate chapters of the book BEFORE the lesson

SPEAK: Join the lesson and discuss the chapters that we have read.
DO HOMEWORK: There are also an optional writing task and vocabulary exercises to complete
