中国人的家庭树Chinese Family Tree
中国人常说 “家和万事兴”，家庭对我们很重要。一个大的家庭中有有爸爸妈妈爷爷奶奶，可能还有其他家庭成员。今天，我们跟着来自澳大利亚的麦克，一起学习中国人的家庭树。​
我的学生麦克来中国学习，他和李华是好朋友。春节快到了，李华和麦克说：“麦克，春节很好玩，来我家过年吧！” 麦克说：“好啊”​
春节那天，麦克来到李华家，见到了李华的家人。他们在厨房忙着做年夜饭呢，很热闹。李华和麦克，走到爸爸妈妈面前，对麦克说：“这是我的爸爸，这是我的妈妈。” 麦克说：“叔叔、阿姨新年好！” 李华的爸爸妈妈说：“麦克，你的中文说得真好！”​
这时，李华的爷爷戴着眼镜，拿着春联出来了。李华对麦克说：“这是我爷爷，爷爷是爸爸的爸爸。” 麦克说：“爷爷新年好！” 爷爷笑着说“欢迎你”​
不一会儿，李华的奶奶端着饺子出来了。李华对麦克说：“这是我奶奶，奶奶是爸爸的妈妈。” 麦克说：“奶奶新年好，饺子看起来很好吃！” 奶奶说：“是的，快尝一尝”​
吃年夜饭时，李华的叔叔、婶婶带着孩子来了。麦克问李华：“他们是谁？” 李华一边吃饺子，一边说：“这是我叔叔，我爸爸的弟弟，这是我婶婶，叔叔的妻子。” 大家听了都笑了，麦克也跟着笑，向叔叔、婶婶问好。​
晚饭后，大家坐在一起聊天。李华拿起一张照片，对麦克说：“麦克，这是我伯伯，爸爸的哥哥，这是我姑姑，爸爸的妹妹。” 麦克问：“那你妈妈的哥哥也是伯伯吗？” 李华说：“妈妈的哥哥和弟弟都叫舅舅，妈妈的姐妹叫姨妈。”​
麦克说：“中国人的家庭里称呼好多啊！在澳大利亚，很多亲戚称呼差不多，不像中国分得这么清楚。” 李华的爷爷说：“中国很大，很多地方亲戚称呼不一样。有的地方把爸爸的姐妹叫‘嬢嬢’。” 麦克说：“真有意思！”​
这个春节麦克学习了关于中国春节的知识，也知道了中国人的“family tree”。

The morning comes quickly because Lemon has slept like a rock. He wakes up remembering his dream: an effortless glide through golden gates guided by angles and eagles.

“Mum, dad, I need to talk to you,” says Lemon. “I’m leaving… I’m going to go find this paradise. I need to see it for myself. I want to feel the soil between my toes and taste the unknown insects.” 

His parents are quiet for a moment. They see in his eyes that this is very important, and they only want what is best for their child. 

His mother speaks first. “You are a sweet child, little Lemon. You have a wonderful mind, brave and curious. You know you’re always welcome here. Our nest is always open.” 

“Mum, of course I’m coming back! I love you two so much and this is my home.” 

Lemon’s father says, “It has been said that there comes a point in a bird’s life when he needs to go beyond the mountains… It happened to my father and my father’s father, but never for me. That time never came. I grew up during the worst winter in known history. I had to work and sacrifice—there was no time for adventures… so, go on, Lemon. Get out there and live your life!” 

“You are the best parents a bird could ever wish for!” 

And with those words, the family hugs, a long hug which, even though freezing winds rip past them, seems to warm them to their very bones.

Swedish furniture company IKEA has opened a new store.

There's nothing strange about that. But wait a minute — the new store is inside a video game. And it's paying real people to work there!

IKEA advertised for 10 positions in a virtual store it has opened in Roblox — and got more than 178,000 applications!

Roblox is a popular online gaming platform that lets users play games and create their own.

IKEA has created The Co-Worker Game on the platform. And it needed some employees.

At the start of June, IKEA began looking for people aged 18 and over in the UK and Ireland to work as paid members of staff at the in-game store.

It said staff would help customers, and would be able to get promoted and move departments, just like in real life.

The company said it wanted to show that it does things a little differently.

Wes Davis from technology website The Verge called it a "weird" but "harmless" idea.

He said he'd never heard of other companies paying people to work in a game, but added that US company Walmart has already created a game on Roblox.

IKEA said its employees would be paid a little over $16.50 per hour during their work-from-home shifts, which is about the same as the company's other workers get paid in the UK.

The store opened on June 24. It's not clear how long the workers will be employed for, although the company said the positions would be on a "limited contract."

It also said anyone who didn't get a job could still experience the virtual store and win in-game prizes.
