What is right? "Most of the news is about covid-19 today" or "Most news today are about covid-19"

As the other commenters have said, 'news' is uncountable. If you want to use it as a plural noun you need to use a countable noun. For example: Most news stories/articles today are about covid-19.

Actually, that's not correct advice. "news" IS a plural noun NOT a singular noun... so how you have used it is right. "Most of the news is about covid-19 today." 100% correct 👍👍 "Most news today are about covid-19" Change to: Most news today is about covid-19.

News is an uncountable noun and should use single word for that and also most of the is right☺️
