Strictly speaking on vocabulary building, from my experience, learning is usually fast at the beginning, but slows down considerably after a certain point. Reasons for this may vary, but typically, it's because the brain can only handle so much before it reaches a plateau.

I use Duolingo as well to learn my languages. When I was going through the Swedish course, everything was smooth sailing until I reached the adverbs lesson. Then I suddenly found myself unable to absorb what the lesson was trying to teach me, and to this day, I'm still struggling with those adverbs.

I challenged myself to learn 50 words every day for a month. So, everywhere I go I carry a tiny notepad with me, where I write down not only loose words but also idioms, expressions, or grammatical structures I'm not familiar with.

However, 50 words per day turned out to be a more difficult task than I thought at the beginning.... which is good because it means that my passive vocabulary was larger than I thought.

Good luck!

Hey Misi.

I like learning when I`m outside. I see a bird and think "hmm, do I know this word in the new language?". You`ll wonder how fast you improve by this method!

Also, i write down all the new words and learn them on my way to work, friends etc. I guess 40 words per day are okay if you really stay focused and relate them to something stupid. For example: bebida (spanish for drink): The baby cries to his mom ida every time he wants milk.

I hope that I could help you :)

Yes, i did (i hope), because i'm not useing only duoilngo, example i created 3 sets on quizlet.com (https://quizlet.com/dani_misi4/folders/spanyol-alapok/sets) the i already know and a bit of other 2. Tomorrow i going to learn one more set and practise the words what i already know.

I don't learned much words i think its because i every day repeat what i know :)

But after week i still not have a rutine which sites to learn, Every day i found news and treing these, but i think the duolingo, quizlet and memrise are bests :)

Duolingo is telling me I'm 44% fluent in French, yet I canno't have a conversation in French besides saying hi and how are you, my reading though improved. Not saying Duolingo isn't good, cause I really enjoy it, but I think one canno't learn a language on duolingo only, If were that easy I'd be speaking 8 languages by now haha

Do you think you really learned these words? I sometimes forget the words I've just learned there, maybe I need a repetition technique.
